The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; 2 John 1:1
Evangelist Missionary Jaynes Strong
Evangelist Missionary Jaynes Strong is the wife of 3rd Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdictional
Prelate and Pastor of Kossuth Church of God in Christ, Elder Robert D. Strong. They have been married over 40 years.
Sister Jaynes is blessed with seven children ~ Cheryl, Byron Kendrick, Robert Jr., Jarvis, Regina, and Marcus. She is also, the loving grandmother of eleven.
On January 19, 1971, Sister Jaynes was “Born Again;” not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. The Lord gave her a mind to be part of the Prayer Band, the Shut-Ins and supporter of all services in her local church. God has not withheld any good thing from the Strong family. He has supplied all their needs according to his riches in glory.
Along with training up her children in the way they should go, loving and supporting her husband and the ministry, Sister Jaynes desired to further her education and God granted her the desire of her heart. He blessed her to attend St. Louis Board of Education School of Practical Nursing and on December 20, 1984, she graduated.
In April 1985, the Missouri State Board licensed her as a Licensed practical Nurse. Sister Jaynes currently serves as President of the Kossuth Church of God In Christ Women’s Ministry, a Sunday School Teacher for the New Converts Class, and is a member of the District and Jurisdictional Prayer and Bible Band. She is also, an anointed speaker, who travels as the Lord leads her.
She has served as an YPWW teacher and helper of the Clothing Giveaway Program. Her work for the Lord has not been in her strength but in the strength of the Lord. She enjoys the things of the Lord, magnifying the Lord in the services, praying with the souls on the altar, visiting the sick and shut-in, and just helping wherever she can.
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
